The risk to any organisation of being caught in a corruption scandal is ever present regardless of the local and foreign environment it operates in, interacts with or the ABC Risk Management plan that is in place.
This Anti-Bribery and Corruption Workshop offered by Malkara Consulting has been designed to meet the needs of managers and employees working in:
· Local, State and Federal Government departments and authorities
· Companies doing business with any government department or authority or with a company or organisation that originates from a jurisdiction with a high risk of corruption
· Financial institutions who are providing finance to any large construction or mining project either in Australia or offshore
· Any organisation doing business with a domestic or international politically exposed person
Unlike other workshop, this focuses on people, the weakest link in any ABC Risk Management Plan. Each workshop will address how staff, contractors and third parties representing an organisation can be corrupted. Knowledge of corruption methods will enable organisations that undertake the training, to build and implement more effective ABC measures.
The capstone of this workshop is the requirement that participants affirm and sign a personal pledge committing themselves and the organisation they lead, work for or contracted to, in combating bribery and corruption in their organisation, country and globally. Participants will be encouraged to display their pledge on websites, internal bulletins and personal correspondence.
This 2-day workshop will be held in Brisbane, Australia on 10 and 11 September 2018. Each workshop will commence at 8.30 am and finish at 5pm everyday. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea is inclusive. All presentations delivered at the workshop will be provided in soft copy to attendees.
Tickets are at $1,320 per person (GST included). There is only a limited number of spaces available to maximise effective training so book your tickets now. Accomodation and travel is not inclusive.
